Equality policies
The Vila-seca city council has been working for some time on the design of services that are closer to citizens and that can accompany them at different times in their life cycle.
That's why the Local Plan for Equality between men and women (2026-2029) reaffirms the commitment to making possible a more egalitarian and respectful society with singularities and differences and free from sexist violence
- Equality Table
Composed of expert professionals, political representatives and municipal technicians, it is established as a consultative body for monitoring the Equality Plan, as a permanent working group for debate and reflection on the deployment of the strategic axes of the Plan.
- Lilac Dots
Safety space for prevention and awareness-raising in relation to sexist behaviors and attitudes, micro-masculinities, masculinity, emotional relationships and romantic love, harassment and sexist violence in public spaces and leisure spaces.
The tent is located in public spaces with activities that coincide with the public and in public spaces in the city.
- Commemoration of international days
Throughout the year, a set of activities are carried out around international days and in coherence with the Equality Plan.
