First Reception Service for Newcomers
The First Reception Service for Newcomers aims to accompany every newcomer to Vila-seca in their integration process into our community, as well as facilitate and provide support in the regularization procedures that are required.
Welcome Routes
Community program of the first reception service for newcomers. Where workshops are regularly organized that combine training sessions with knowledge outings around the municipality aimed at all newcomers who want to learn about the resources and services that the municipality offers them.
The Federation of Municipalities of Catalonia and the Carles Pi i Sunyer Foundation for Regional and Local Studies have included the experience of “Welcome routes. Itineraries for newcomers to get to know municipal facilities and services.” promoted by the Vila-seca City Council. The mention of “meaningful practice” allows it to serve as a reference for other town halls or local entities, with the aim of improving municipal tasks.
Attached you can download the Welcome Guide, which has been published in a total of 11 languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese, Arabic, Amazigh and Romanian.
