The initial budget for these subsidies is 80.000 euros.

The Local Government Board of Vila-seca City Council has approved the public call for subsidies for the improvement of homes and the installation of green energy in Vila-seca.

Specifically, there are a total of 4 lines of subsidies with an initial budget of 80.000 euros, expandable to an additional 75.000 euros, in the event that the credit is exhausted. These 4 lines are:

• Elevator installation i elimination of architectural barriers in residential buildings in Vila-seca with the aim of improving the living conditions of their occupants by facilitating access to their homes for older people or people with reduced mobility.

• Facade repair and painting and attached protruding elements in buildings already built in Vila-seca with the aim of improving the quality of the homes, and consequently, promoting the improvement of the living conditions of their occupants, reducing the danger of elements of the facades and their protruding bodies falling onto the public road, in addition to painting them.

• Rehabilitation of homes in the Historic Center of Vila-seca, in order to improve the quality of life of citizens, the habitability conditions and the urban landscape, and make the necessary technical, economic and management tools available to citizens.

• Installation of photovoltaic panels and its equipment in homes or homeowners' communities, to promote the rational use of energy with savings and efficiency measures, as well as promote the development of renewable energies, through aid to encourage investments in photovoltaic electrical energy installations.

It should be remembered that, in order to process these subsidies, a series of requirements must be met, such as a building permit having been processed and the actions having been completed and paid for.

Subsidies can be requested until October 31, 2026 at the Electronic Office (https://vila-seca.eadministracio.cat), or at the Citizens' Assistance Office (OAC).
