The Vila-seca City Council, through the Social Rights and Participation Area, is promoting the development of the First Local Plan for the Care of the Elderly in Vila-seca 2026-2030, a strategic document that should allow the lines of action and actions aimed at this group to be defined over the coming years.
As part of the participatory diagnosis process, interviews are being carried out with municipal technical staff, entities and agents in the territory, as well as with the different departments of the City Council. In parallel, participatory workshops have also been organized with older people from the three population centers of the municipality.
With the aim of gathering a broad and representative view of the reality of the elderly in Vila-seca, a survey has been launched aimed at all people aged 55 or over. The aim is to find out their needs, perceptions, interests and expectations for the future, in order to incorporate them into the diagnosis and definition of the priorities of the Plan.
