Today, Thursday, the Municipal Training and Employment Center 'Antic Hospital' hosted the closing ceremony for the 2025-2026 academic year of Classroom 15, the Shared Schooling Unit (UEC). The event was chaired by the deputy mayor of Vila-seca, Manuela Moya, together with the inspector of the Education Department, Esther Sanz. It was also attended by municipal councilors, teachers and family members, and representatives of the Ramon Barbat and Vila-seca high schools.
A total of 11 students, from the two high schools in the municipality, have completed this course that allows them better access to the world of work, as well as the continuation of their studies. In the words of the deputy mayor, Manuela Moya, "today is a very special day", and she wanted to encourage those in attendance to continue training and moving forward on this path, of which today they have reached a significant milestone.
A15 is a resource for specialized educational care, an alternative learning space for certain students with difficulty integrating into the school environment. A15 develops an adapted ESO fostered in the promotion of the basic skills stipulated by the Department of Education and is a project funded by the Vila-seca City Council and the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
