After an intense first weekend of celebrations in La Pineda, the Summer Festival continues from this Wednesday, July 29st in Vila-seca, where until August 3 A wide variety of cultural, traditional, family and musical events have been scheduled to enjoy the final stretch of the festival.
The program starts today, Wednesday at 19 pm on Rambla de Catalunya with the family show Dokum, by the Hectordelasa company and the concert at 9 pm with the band Fan Boys. During these days, artists and groups such as Ramonets, Irreverentes, Mojinos Escozíos and the DJs from the CUBIK Space will perform on the different stages, with an offer designed for all audiences.
One of the most anticipated moments will arrive on Friday, July 31st with the Great Festa Major Concert in the Riera Park, which will bring together the groups La Fúmiga and Banda Neón in one of the great musical events of the summer. That same day will also take place the Correfoc Petit, the comedy night in the Pl. d'Estiu and a new edition of La Terrasseta d'Estiu.
The party will continue on August 1st with the Beer search enlivened by the Txaranga Band Tocats and the Charanga Txarangollo and with a new casteller day in the pl. de l'Església that will bring together the Xiquets de Vila-seca, the Xiquets de Tarragona and the Colla Vella dels Xiquets de Valls. At night, Alosa will present his first album and the Gran Ball de Festa Major with the Nueva Alaska Orchestra and a new musical proposal will take place in the Espai CUBIK.
On Saturday, August 2nd, it will be the turn of the musical vermouths and the Traditional Procession Parade, which will once again fill the streets of Vila-seca with popular culture and tradition. As in recent editions, a quiet section will be set up on Sant Josep Street to facilitate the participation of all people.
The closing of the Festa Major will be on Sunday, August 3, coinciding with the commemoration of the Invention of the Body of Saint Stephen. The day will begin with the traditional thunderous matinadas and, as a novelty this year, will include for the first time the departure of the Traditional Procession and the authorities. There will also be a High Mass, the Sant Esteve Ball, the singing of habaneras with burnt rum by Terra Endins, the trabucaires parade and the Ball de Diables correfoc. A large fireworks display, by Dragón Coeters, will put the finishing touch to the 2026 Summer Festival.
