The Vila-seca City Council presented the spring-summer 2026 cultural programming at the Celler de Vila-seca this morning at a press conference. The presentation was given by the councilor for Culture, Leisure and Knowledge, Manuela Moya, and the programmer of the Josep Carreras Auditorium, Josep Solórzano.

The new programming once again offers a varied proposal, with a combination of music, cinema for all ages, theatre and dance. As for the theatre offer, it is worth highlighting the initiative Cap Butaca Buida, which returns to the Celler with local theatre by Sala Trono, which will bring us “The Devil, the Mother and I” on Saturday 21 March.

Music will also play a leading role with outstanding proposals such as the evening "Música i tines" on Saturday, April 18, which will feature Gerard Quintana and Jordi Batiste, and a new edition of the Jazz Vila-seca cycle, with a concert at the Celler, by David Pastor & Quartet, and two concerts at the Auditorium: Moisés P. Sánchez Trio and Con-fusión Project.

As every year, dance schools will hold their festivals at the end of the school year, and high schools will also stage their works.

As for the Josep Carreras Auditorium, the commitment to supporting young talents trained in the region is maintained, who find on the Vila-seca stage a springboard to project themselves towards large venues. It is also worth highlighting the collaboration with a Canadian university, which will allow it to offer three concerts of great artistic dimension on May 22, 24 and 30 with the “Perspective Festival”. The program also includes concerts with established artists such as Àngel Òdena and the Camerata XXI Orchestra.

During her speech, Councillor Manuela Moya noted that the number of attendees exceeded 13.000 between the Josep Carreras Auditorium, the regular programming at the Celler and the Festa Major activities held in this space. She explained that approximately 45% of the audience corresponds to the Auditorium and 55% to the Celler, “a figure that confirms the good moment for culture in Vila-seca”, she concluded.

For his part, Josep Solórzano has particularly highlighted the international collaboration with the Canadian university, which will allow the musical offering to be expanded and the public to be offered high-level artistic proposals.
