A pioneering attempt to stage this Shakespeare poem with exquisite rhetorical flourishes, sensuality and eroticism that are both intense and uninhibited.
By Montse Dulcet. Limited capacity.
Full moons by the sea. Come, breathe and let yourself be carried away by the moon.
A dialogue between two authors who share a common DNA: the obsession with detail, poetic sensitivity and that cavernous voice that seems to be born from the center of the Earth.
Taking as a starting point Lulú, Wedekind's fascinating character, we will investigate the desires that our society hypocritically disguises as perversions and taboos. Lulú is the ideal vehicle to show them, precisely because she has none: radical, without ideals, turned towards desire, sensuality, pleasure. As painted by Munch, Kirchner or Nolde, the expressionist Lulú is an unconscious representative of chaos, full of sensuality and eroticism. Surrounded by mystery, with great annihilating power, she will bring us closer to the vulnerable border that separates life and death.
